Life includes ups and downs, but sometimes it can feel like it is simply becoming too much to handle. When this happens, when it becomes hard to get out of bed and the things in life that used to bring job just don't anymore it is time to get help. When we are overwhelmed, exhausted, or out of touch with joy, it’s time to seek help. Therapy can help you process past pain, help you tackle the hurt and struggles you currently face, and find a way forward.

Personal Growth
Counseling doesn't have to be just because of experienced traumas and pain, although everyone faces difficulties and struggles. Counseling is also for those who are doing well in life but seek to improve, grow, evolve as individuals.

Depression

Anxiety and Stress Management
In our busy world, where the news never seems to focus on the good, it is easy and understandable to feel overwhelmed. Spending time in nature has been shown to help naturally reduce anxiety and stress, combined with counseling I will work with you to help conquer your fears, and calm your mind.

ADD and ADHD
Those are a lot of letters, but for many the meaning is far too well known. Difficulties with focus, struggling to conform to traditional school roles and jobs-- I will work with you, your child, or your family to help find ways to build on those strengths that you already have in place, and build on them while partnering with nature-- a known management tool for ADD and ADHD symptoms.

Trauma Recovery
Sometimes things happen that are far out of our control, and sometimes, by no fault of our own, we get stuck in those dark places. Counseling and nature are powerful tools to help you move forward and find light and peace.

Relationships
While there are a wide variety of struggles in our lives, perhaps none have such an effect as relationships. A good one can make the bad easier to cope with, and a poor one can send ripples into every other aspect of our lives, from careers, mental health, addictions, and other areas. I will work with you to develop better communication, work/life balance, and achieve shared goals.

Grief and Loss
Grief may not limited to feeling sad, it may also involve anger, guilt, or regret. Sometimes surprising us by their severity. Grief and loss do not have to be the result of death. Loss of health, job, financial status, many events in our lives can these feelings. Therapy can be an important tool in working through these feelings.

Addiction Recovery
Addiction doesn't have to mean drugs and alcohol. It can be any number of behaviors that feel uncontrollable such as gambling, shopping, and technology. I will work with you to develop a treatment plan, focus on your strengths, and help you find healthy coping strategies and increase your motivation for change.
